📣 Staffing Announcement!! 📣
As we grow it has become imperative that I expand my team of staff members. More hands on deck means we can offer more, and better client service and experiences!
I am thrilled that Instructor @Julie Connor has agreed to take on the staff position of Event Secretary.
MDS is looking forward to being able to offer more sanctioned trials, fun matches and workshops on a regular schedule (to be released soon).
We hope you will be able to join us!
I was at a UKI, 3 day trial this weekend in St Lazare. 3rd day Rookie was lame and I pulled him from the trial. He did not fall, and has no visible injuries to his front paw or leg. I suspect it is a foot injury as he is much better today and limps now on gravel only. Rookie is not use to running on turf. I was told at the event wet feet on turf is not easy on the paws, it rained all weekend! Reaching out to see if anyone has previous experience with this or knowledge of how to treat a possible turf burn?
Rookie is entered in the upcoming provincials in Quebec June 22 , it is an indoor trial on turf. I hope to be there.
thanks for any input.
Oh no Mary! Sorry I don’t have any experience with running on wet turf, just to say hope he is feeling better.
Attention! We have decided to postpone the MDS’ Student Agility Fun Match to June 21 due to rain.
