Service Description
For handlers looking for training for their sports-bound puppy...or just loving companion pet. This small group class will focus on all the "good dog" training every puppy and dog should have to be a great pet, as well as the fitness and sports foundation your puppy needs in order to grow into a successful sports dog. "Good Dog Training" Puppy socializing, crate training, place training, loose leash walking, impulse control, recalls, cooperative care (grooming/vet/nail trims), engagement games for working through distractions, neutral dog/human greetings, shaping training methods for traditional obedience behaviours and tricks. Those with pet dogs can re-enroll in this class until the puppy is 12 months of age; we continue to grow skills week to week. *Please note that “socialization” is not puppy playtime/free-play, but rather healthy - neutral or positive - exposure to people, places, animals, things, environments, textures and sounds. We do not support or encourage puppy playtime/free-play in the sports training environment. “Sports Puppy Training” Everything from “Good Dog Training” but also age-appropriate fitness and foundation sports skills (rally, obedience, agility, field, tricks, disc, dock). Those with sports puppies can re-enroll in this class until the puppy is 18 months of age. Session Length: 4-weeks. Class Length: 1-hour Fee (includes taxes): $135.60 Instructor: Chantelle Charlebois 1. Indoor shoes are required if this class is to be held indoors. Please always pack a clean, dry pair of comfortable shoes. 2. There is a $25 cleaning fee for each potty accident that occurs indoors. 3. Crates are required for all dogs attending this class. This is for the safety of all dogs, handlers, and instructors. I lieu of a crate handlers may keep their dogs in their car between turns. Payment is required in order to complete your registration. A $10 administration fee will be applied to each requested refund. 2. Private Lessons & Rentals: No refunds will be given for same day cancelations or for no-shows. 3. Group Classes: No refunds will be given after the first day of the group class. 4. Workshops/Fun Matches/Competitions: No refund will be given after 7 calendar days before the date of the event.
